This entrepreneurship project was very helpful to me and it was a great experience. As I blogged each week from what I learn about technologies in class, I could have thought of actual companies and the technologies they use in real life. It helped me not only to learn about the entrepreneurship but also to study and review the things that I learn in class.
This project gave me the idea of how the actual companies are working and how they have several divisions to work and concentrate on their own parts for the companies. Each week developed me to form several specific parts of my entrepreneurial company.
This blogging project was new to me and I never thought of doing blogs but it was a worthy experience. Before this project, I only watched and read others' blogs but it was fun to be one of the bloggers sharing ideas. Now I'm one of the bloggers who can share and read creative and interesting ideas on the internet with tons of bloggers around the world.

Week 7 - Blog Review Post
There is a website called http://www.icanhascheezburger.com/ that provides funny pictures, videos and stuff. I found this website first from http://failblog.org/ when I was bored and was looking for funny stuff to look around to kill my time. And it was a great discovery for me because the website and the blogs were funny to me.
It wasn't easy to find the creator because I only knew http://failblog.org/ but it was only a part of the http://www.icanhascheezburger.com/. The owner of the website is Ben Huh and the creators are Eric Nakagawa from Hawaii and his girl friend Kari Unebasami. The guy is called Cheezburger and his girl friend is known as Tofuburger. This website was created in January, 2007. They started with a picture of a smiling, fat cat with the caption 'I can has cheezburger?' which was actually their inside joke but they started to post more pictures and opened the comments. After posting similar images, Nakagawa converted the site to a blog.
Visitors increased day by day and it became one of the famous websites receiving 1,500,000 hits per day. In September, 2007, a group of investors acquired this website for $ 2 million. The site's blogs are posted by the readers now and the current owner of the website is Ben Huh, according to Wikipedia.

Week 6 - Basics of Systems
As we run a markets that produce items and own online markets, we need computer experts to manage those things. Those professionals should know not only the functions of computers but also the basics of computers. Unix/Linux are the basics of computers they should know if they learned well. These are the operating systems that had been used until couple years ago before computers were developed like these days. They were gradually forgotten by many computer users because they require memorization of the terms and orders to use them and modern computers are developed to use them without knowing those terms.
However, we still need computer experts who know the basics of computer because we need to have good security to protect our online shopping markets and order processes. Also the networks between factories and markets shouldn't be hacked to be altered then it will affect our business badly. As our store deals with money mostly, the numbers we type in on computers are very important. No one else other than our officers should have an access to it so we need a strong security to protect them that our computer experts are going to make.
FileZilla that we used for the lab this week is used to transfer files from computer to computer or between networks. This will be useful between transferring files between markets and online shopping departments. They will be helpful to manage numerous items with destinations to identify and prices to calculate. There shouldn't be any mistake to damage customers' order or markets's accounting by writing orders on paper or calculate each orders by hand. This file transferring will be helpful to exchange order records on excel.

Week 5 - Musics for customers
For my business idea, musics in the stores are the only way to use it unless we produce audio items for sale. We will buy speakers to play music in the stores and there will be someone who picks updated top musics everyday. Musics will be cheerful and enjoyable for shoppers. There will be different musics for stores in different areas. The stores in countryside will be playing country music for many farmers and country people. Stores in suburb and city will be playing top updated rap or hiphop musics for customers.
Choice of musics are important to customers because it will affect their moods and feelings. Fast and cheerful music may encourage them to purchase items that they hesitate. Also such musics may want customers to stay longer in markets and give good picture of the market. Arranging items in each category is not the only way to sell items. Surroundings, workers, atmosphere and musics can draw more customers and drive them away.
If we start to make ear phones or headphones for our markets, we will need to hire audio experts to produce items. We should also care much about qualities of our products because it also gives the picture of the market. We should have great quality of items, workers, and markets.

Week 4 - Photoshop
Adverisements and visual of the markets are important. It gives people the picture of the markets. Just owning markets won't make enough customers. The logo of the company should fit to what we do and sell to many people. As I'm going to own markets, logos should look fresh and safe. Many companies that need advertisements to success spend much time and money to show to other people worldwidely.
As the advertisements are important and effective, many distribution companies hire many creative people and make advertisement teams in the office. Those hired people are educated from art schools and learned to create effective and meaningful advertisements. Because advertisements are done by computers, they need to own computers that can support high resolution pictures and videos. Most of those art people should be able to use photoshop to make pictures that they think of. Photoshops are used to make pictures whatever they want to easily.
These days, most computers are improved to support most videos but videos are also improving as well. Such as Blue-Ray, that most normal computers cannot support to run this high pixeled videos smoothely. There should be a few computers to watch Blue-Ray videos and these videos are as big as 20 GB. Week 3 - Hardware
These days, hardwares are everywhere such as home, markets, offices, and school, etc. Most people use those hardwares without realizing how they work. Hardwares are made to make humans lives more convenient and easy. Calculator might be the first version of computers that we use everyday. It gave the answers when we put the numbers in. Then it developed to computers that can calculate, write papers, and communicate through internet. Also cell phones are developed like computers these days. Even though we don't realize how these hardwares function, we have to know about those functions to purchase and own them.
Some people learn to become professional at hardwares. Big companies need such hardware and computer experts to hire. They need them to protect their security and run the company systematically. They will decide what kind of computers the company needs in the offices. RAM should be high enough so the computers won't freeze while using many tasks in computer and working. Week 2 - Excel
Microsoft Excel is made to help the work of accounting easier. It is used often by big modern companies that have difficulties when do accounting by people. It is a lot of work and hard to keep and search back the accounting histories when it's done by papers. Also many companies have hired expert programmers to develope their own programs that fits better for their companies than Microsoft Excel. It makes accounting easier to calculate their estimations and balances so I'm going to use the program that is based on Excel.
My supermarket company is required to have programs like Excel because it deals with numerous kinds and numbers of items in so many stores in many cities around the country. Also the company will own farms or factories to produce our own items to sale because it will help to make cheaper items in stores while other supermarkets buy the items from the other company and sell that increases the prices of items. This program will not only be used in the office. The company will have networks that no one else can enter and modify the values with the farms and factories to calculate and estimate quantity and due dates. It will make numbers clearer and faster.
This program will not only be used for the items but also be used to calculate the money to run the company and make profits and to manage employees. Calculating money will be exact and fast because it's all done by computers. Even though something is wrong in the middle of the calculation, we can just find the wrong value and change then it will recalculate the other values that were affected rather than recalculating the rest values that were affected by the wrong value. Also the employees will be listed on the program to be managed. We can easily calculate the salaries and look over their results of works. This program that calculates the changing numbers of items and money is really important to the company and will be one of the essential things that runs the company other than people.

Week 1 - Market
I believe this idea is innovative in several other countries except in Korea. There had been a standard oil monopoly in America by John D. Rockefeller. Similar thing has happened currently in Korea by a large supermarket company which is similar to Walmart that sells items really cheap compared to other markets. Also it has been an issue by the government and other small individual markets because the company dominates the other small individual markets by offering comparatively cheap prices with numerous markets.
These days, Walmart is in almost every town but it's too big to fit in close to people. So many people have to drive at least 5-10 minutes to get to the super market. If the stores that sell for cheap are close to where you live that you can walk there, it will be popular to many people because it's cheap and close as markets near where you live. The company should be big as Walmart but make smaller and more numerous markets everywhere in many towns and cities. The store not only sells items like Walmart but also sells fast foods and coffee cheaper.
Such stores are already in Korea dominating small individual markets which widen the gaps between wealth and poverty but people who made such stores can become really rich. When the company also sells doughnuts, fast foods, coffee cheaper, then profits will increase that were used to be earned by some weak chain stores and individual markets. People haven't tried this yet because it's new and innovative. Also it's possible because the company in Korea succeeded. Even Korea has capitalism like many other countries including USA.
Our markets will keep posting compared prices of items from near competitive markets to show that our store always sell cheaper and it requires fast and exact information. Inside the markets, they will be playing updated top musics everyday to help people enjoy shopping.
